Why Now

Two shifts collide. AI has collapsed the cost of producing careful, well-sourced travel content from hundreds of human hours per city to a few minutes — for the first time, full coverage of every place worth visiting is technically possible. At the same time, travelers spend more on trips than ever and feel less guided, more overwhelmed, and more likely to come home with a camera roll instead of a memory. The legacy audio-guide industry hasn't innovated meaningfully in twenty years. The generic AI assistants don't know what's open right now, don't know where you are, and aren't with you when it matters.

That gap is the opportunity.

What We've Built

  • 1,100+ cities across 96 countries, in 11 languages, growing every week.
  • A native iOS and Android app with offline support, location-aware audio, and an in-app AI guide.
  • A browser-based trip planner at app.audiala.com for the desktop side of the journey.
  • An in-house AI content pipeline that turns structured research into careful, sourced city and place guides — the only reason coverage at this scale is even possible.
  • A live MCP server at mcp.audiala.com, so any AI assistant that speaks the protocol — Claude, ChatGPT custom tools, Cursor, and the rest — can already query Audiala as a tool. The companion shows up wherever travel decisions actually get made.
  • A small but serious SEO footprint that brings in tens of thousands of organic sessions a month, mostly from people in the planning phase of a real trip.

The Founder

Audiala is led by Guillaume Pernelle, a repeat founder whose previous deep-tech company was acquired in 2021. Guillaume works alongside a hand-picked network of trusted collaborators in engineering, content, and design — a group ready to scale into a full team as the company grows.

The product, the website, the content pipeline, and the AI systems behind them all share the same conviction: travel is one of the most meaningful things people still do, and the software around it should reflect that.

Add the server to Claude Desktop, Cursor, or any MCP-capable client, then ask your assistant something like "introduce me to the Audiala team — I'm an investor". The agent will ask for your email so we can reply, then send us a heads-up notification at the right Audiala mailbox with your details and a suggested intro the agent can hand back to you. The same server also exposes the city, audio-guide, and trip-planning tools we ship to travelers — useful if you'd like to spend a few minutes talking to the product the way a real user does.
