Seattle University

History

Seattle University was established in 1891 by Jesuit priest Adrian Sweere, S.J., as a Jesuit parish school. General campus visits are free and open to the public. The chapel is also free, with no tickets required for individuals. Group tours require advance registration.

Campus guided tours are available by appointment through the admissions office, and pre-registration is recommended. Chapel guided tours are offered Mon–Fri at 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM, as well as on select weekends. Register in advance for group tours through Campus Tour Registration.

Self-guided tours are available online with downloadable maps and GPS-enabled tours. Chapel visitors can register to receive GPS-enabled links through Self-Guided Campus Tours. Interactive online tours are also available through Virtual Information Sessions.
