Cal State LA is a 70-acre hilltop campus in northeastern Los Angeles, five miles east of downtown. It combines academic facilities, mid-century modern architecture, cultural attractions, and outdoor spaces, with views of the San Gabriel Valley, the San Gabriel Mountains, the city skyline, and Catalina Island.
