Buy it at Seoul Metro information centers on Lines 1 to 8, selected convenience stores near Line 9 and light metro lines, or at tourist information centers such as Myeongdong. Since March 17, 2026, short-term passes can be bought with international credit or debit cards. Do not load it too early: validity starts when charged, not on first ride.
This is the easiest real saver for most independent travelers. If you are taking four rides in a day, the 1-day card usually works. If your trip includes airport buses, Sinbundang, or a lot of time outside Seoul coverage, the math gets worse fast.

Buy it on site at the ticket offices of the 4 palaces and Jongmyo. Do not rely on older English pages showing KRW 10,000; the current official Korean fee page lists KRW 6,000. Check free-entry rules before buying, because foreign visitors aged 18 and under or 65 and over already enter free.
For adult travelers who want several palace sites, this is the clearest sightseeing value in Seoul. For families with teens or seniors, it can be pointless because many of them are already free.

shopping_bag
Buy from the official site or official app listing, not from a stale reseller page. If you want transit-card function, you need the physical card pass, not the mobile pass. Older pickup lists mention Incheon Airport T1 and T2 bookstores, Myeongdong, Dongdaemun, and Seoul Tourism Plaza, but verify current counters in the app or official site before relying on them.
This can work, but only with a deliberate itinerary built around expensive attractions. If your Seoul plan is mostly palaces, museums, neighborhoods, and cafés, it is usually a bad buy.

Only buy this if you already know which current discounts you will use. Official sources point to vending machines at major Seoul subway stations, AREX-linked stations such as Seoul Station and Incheon Airport Terminal 1 Station, and some airport pickup options. Check the official site first because English indexing is patchy and old screenshots can mislead.
Think of this as a tourist-branded transit card with coupons. That is not useless, but it is not the same thing as a city pass, and many travelers are better off with a simpler transit option.

Verify availability before you build a trip around this, because current English information is patchy. Tourism sources point to Tmoney Town near Seoul Station Exit 10, and some older pages also mention airport and Myeongdong tourist information counters. In practice, compare it against the Climate Card first, because Mpass is usually the more expensive answer.
This used to sound like the tourist transit card, but in 2026 it is usually poor value for a normal city break. Unless you are taking an unusually high number of rides and want its specific coverage pattern, the Climate Card is the better bet.
